FAQ

What is a Vehicle Wrap?
Car wraps can take many shapes, colors and sizes. A full wrap covers the entire surface of the car or vehicle. A partial wrap covers only a specific portion of the vehicle and uses the vehicle’s paint scheme as the backdrop for the full design. Vehicle wraps are done with vinyl materials (think of it as a large decal) that conform to the shape of your vehicle. They can be done in solid colors as “paint replacement” or can have digitally printed designs on the vinyl to really make your vehicle stand out.
Vehicle wraps materials are formulated with removable adhesive that does not harm your car’s OEM paint – as long as it is in good condition. In fact, many people find that by wrapping their vehicle, it can possibly assist in keeping a higher resale value on the vehicle due to the protective benefits of the wrap.
There are a lot of environmental factors that will determine exactly how long each individual wrap will last, but in general you can expect about 5 to 7 years for a professionally installed vehicle wrap.
Yes, we primarily use 3M wrap vinyls and are a 3M Preferred Installer so we are able to offer 3M’s warranty on all our wraps. Depending on the specifics of your project and the materials used, we can offer up to a 7 year warranty.

If the wrap is damaged or fails within the parameters of the warranty, we will repair or replace the damaged section at our discretion at no charge to you. If the damage or failure is outside of the warranty parameters then we can still repair or replace the wrap. Usually if only a small part or section of the wrap is damaged we can repair or cut out and replace just that section, minimizing your cost.

Proper care is probably the most important factor in getting the longest life span out of your wrap. Make sure to wash your vehicle on a regular basis, basically any time your vehicle starts to appear dirty. Contaminants allowed to remain on your wrapped vehicle can be more difficult to clean and may decrease the life span of you wrap. Use a wet, non-abrasive car wash detergent and a soft, clean cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. To reduce water spotting, immediately use a silicone squeegee to remove water and finish with a clean microfiber cloth. Because of the custom nature of wrapping vehicles, there is no way to have standardized pricing that applies to every vehicle. Feel free to contact us to get an estimate, but most of the time we’ll need to evaluate your vehicle and get an idea of what type of artwork you want in order to get you an accurate quote.
This is another question that has a lot of factors involved in order to give you an accurate answer. The size of your vehicle, the intricacy of your graphics, your response time, our current work load – these and more are all factors in the time it takes for us to complete your specific project. Please contact us to discuss your specific project in order to get an estimated time line for your wrap.
